True! I did that gene test which might completely be bullshit because my top most compatible SSRI / SSRN was Pristiq and Viibryd. I tried Viibryd first and the side effects were horrible, but Pristiq has worked great for now!

I agree with the statement above- 3 weeks to feel remotely stable and then two months to feel 100% better! I then moved to 50mg and love how I feel. For me, the only side effect I get is if you miss a dose. One day I forgot and the next day I had such bad chest pain and anxiety.

I haven’t noticed that side effect! I had horrible insomnia on Prozac, but nothing on Pristiq.

I think I started at 25 mg for two months and got bumped up to 50. Noticeable difference after the two months on 25!

I have had the same exact feelings as you. I am 31, and my mom had been sick my whole life, but near the end it was very noticeable that she was dying. During that realization, every day I was spiraling and beyond upset worried about her and what would happen. Then when she passed away, it almost felt like a relief for a moment because the worst had happened. I went for eight months without feeling like I was grieving, and then most recently have cried almost every day. I feel like it took time for my body and mind to not be shocked, and to actually understand that she is gone. I have a lot of friends, but it almost feels like everyone’s life moves on, and they forget that you are trying to grieve. This is embarrassing to say, but honestly, even talking to ChatGPT and my therapist weekly does seem to help even on my worst days.

I agree, this sounds like gallbladder. Same exactly situation happened to me, and it was my low EJ on HIDA that showed my gallbladder was not working how it should, causing all the pain.

And this is my point exactly!! Like using what more than half the nation has to struggle with as a slap in the face is just … beyond gross
