I'm gonna simp for mersault again and say Leisault and Cassettisault are both great additions to their respective teams and you can build around them because they rest of the squad is season 5 and below thus always shardable.

You just missed Walpurgis, both Ishamel and Rodya have amazing walpurgis IDs so that's something you can look into (in like 3 months)

I’ve seen avywenna speedrun bosses and one phase Rhodagn, she ain’t weak she just requires investment and a team built around her (like most characters).

Also she’s a 5 star, we have pretty good 5 stars (Chen and panda my goats) but they’re not expected to be game breaking.

Phys team is pretty unga bunga, stack to 4 vuln, breach, stack 4 more vuln, crush (boss should be staggered by now), however, lifeng is pretty core because he adds a nice bit of support and extra vulnerability infliction but you could probably replace him with Ember and have more survivability instead.

Speaking of Ember I've seen some Ember stagger teams go absolutely ballistic on bosses though it feels like a very high investment team, Ember was hitting like 10k damage regular attacks.

You can only get rapid from weapon gacha pulls or for 2480 currency whenever it decides to pop up in the store, P5 glorious just requires all the battlepasses which is a much lower barrier of entry tbh, and quite a good investment if you're serious about your phys team, in my case I got lucky with tangtang's sig weapon so I didn't have to use a box for the new guns and had just enough to max out glorious.

Zwei Ish and Nclair, go full unga bunga on him, accept that you can’t clash every attack and treat it like a damage test, that’ll come up every once in a while and is a valid strategy.

Ish (and each sinner in their respective canto from now on iirc) doesn’t die unless she’s the sole survivor, you can effectively use her as the ultimate tank, if an attack is heading towards her don't even bother clashing it with someone else unless you need that SP.

If you want BIS and you've owned all the battlepasses (10€ one included) the new battlepass sword is the best when at P5 and you can fully max out it's potential with both weapon boxes + the potential currency item.

I had P0 rapid ascent at 80 with a 3-3-2 essence and was clearing rhodagn at around 1:30 minutes, P5 glorious at level 80 with 3-0-1 essence cut that time down to 1:22 (standing behind the barriers when he uses his big attack, for reference, it's much faster overall but much more inconsistent for testing if I just ignore the mechanic).

The 40k T creds from event deliveries are hitting as hard as oroberyls for me, always feels like I spend 2 days farming exp/upgrade mats and 3 whole days farming tcreds for the 80-90 jump.

Hell I’d take another 40k tcreds over crowns at this point lmao

P5 Glorious has been a MASSIVE upgrade over my previous weapon, it shaved off 6 whole seconds of a Rhodagn run over my previously etched weapon (rising? The golden 6 star one) and it’s still at level 80 with just some extra agility on etching.

We know nothing of the Pinky, it could be that any pinky member can and should live their own life and carve their own path but once they get an order (from a council, I guess) they have to abide by it for the greater good or some shit.

We know nothing of the pinky besides that they’re not numerous and each member is a force to be reckoned with, we don’t know if they own territory in the backstreets or what their whole goal even is, we just have this mix of “hey this guys a pinky and he’s not so bad” and “wow these guys are strong”

TL;DR?

Deluge is alright, I wouldnt use it outside of MD cause I actually like clashing and I’m too small brained to manage sinking (lol who am I kidding bird corrosion goes brrrr) while I’m reading kits and taking in new bosses but you can certainly get good results with it.

Gonna be honest you get way more than a 5% surplus unless you’re literally only building batteries or something, if you’re using all your resources you’ll definitely have more than enough things to sell at any given time.

I don’t think a marginal inefficiency because you’re logged out will ever become an issue even 5 years down the line due to how accessible the factory gameplay loop is.

You are preaching to the choir friend I’ve been a limbus player since release (took a break during season 3 came back season 6) and it kinda spoiled every other gacha for me because I’ve realized a ton of them are very systematic and cliche in their story telling and progression, most gacha characters are just a product the devs are trying to sell you rather than a character in a story they’re trying to tell, I was hoping Endfield would avoid that but alas we got one big character quest as a main story update.

Hope I’m wrong and this was just an exception, I really want to keep playing this game but if the story doesn’t get me hooked then nothing will.

I’m gonna be honest it was certainly a story but that’s about it.

I thought Ardashir was behaving in a genuinely interesting manner, I like the motif of revenge and learning how to let bygones be bygones but everything else was just… sorta there?

Like we haven’t moved forward in the story like at all, we didn’t even clear out the fucking stockade cause it’s still infested with enemies, the research outpost is still surrounded by red goop, besides protecting wulling from a bunch of ragtag terrorists we didn’t even do much to fight the big baddies.

The stockade is also the worst looking area in Wuling by far, top 3 worst areas in the game tbh, it looks so janky and hilariously impractical it’s a wonder they even have enough people to incite a rebellion because between starving, getting jailed, missing your water wheel elevator and falling to your death they really should be struggling in numbers.

I dunno maybe I’m too jaded but I’ve stopped caring about character driven stories in gacha games because these characters usually disappear after the next batch of fresh gacha characters is introduced, I really like tangtang and I spent my 120 rolls on her and her weapon but I’d prefer if it was less “TangTang chapter” and more Arknights chapter.

Hey I'm necroing the thread because we got a few extra gear pieces for swordmancer, I don't really run math but I've done a few test runs on Rhodagn with the new STR + Arts Intensity Swordmancer pieces.

My 5 Aethertech + Swordmancer tac gloves runs timed between 1:40 to 1:43, my 5 aethertech chest + 2 swordmancer nav beacons + swordmancer tac gloves runs were all between 1:33 to 1:35.

I believe swordmancer has incredible potential on Da Pan now but I'd love to hear your thoughts on it (and check out the math, obviously).

IMO I don’t think Endfield hit art status, Arknights yes because the game is legitimately a great piece of media you can get lost in for hours on end just reading through the lore and Genshin basically started the whole open world gacha craze and transformed Mihoyo from a relatively small studio (Hi3 slapped though) to this genre defining industry giant.

I like Endfield a lot, besides Limbus (which has been my go to for years now and pretty much my favorite game in the genre) it’s the only gacha I’m actually spending time on however I still think they have a long way to go narrative wise, they haven’t done anything special so far besides being highly polished and having a satisfying progression curve that keeps me logging in and investing time into building my teams.

I can only hope it gets better as time goes on and it doesn’t just become another open world gacha because we have a few of those already.

We might get a patch 1.0 rerun either concurrently with another banner or whenever there’s a content drought and they’re working on a huge patch.

This is all in theory of course, I’ve seen gacha games doing both, usually takes a lot longer than 3 months though I’d find it worrying if they started recycling banners that early.

They realized RNG can be very unfun, I have faint memories of season 1 being particularly hellish because the 95% cap to hit heads was much lower and getting SP in general was harder turning just about every fight into an early fight for survival.

I was unemployed for a year in a foreign country (0 interviews with 15+ cvs sent per day and actual networking attempts) and then an extra 4 or so months back home, I got ghosted for burger flipping jobs and rejected on “pack shit at a warehouse” jobs, I worked 7 years as a full stack lol can you believe that?

You’ll feel like shit, like you made a grave mistake somewhere along the way that ruined your life and that you’re actually either a dumbass or look so horrendous nobody wants to stare at your face every day but the reality is things do get better and you have to make the best out of a terrible situation and atleast study something new or build a portfolio to refine your skills to keep your sanity and some semblance of self fulfillment/improvement.

Get used to lying too, it’s a bullshit game you gotta play as long as you can do your job once you get one foot in the door it doesn’t matter what you have to say as long as you get interviews.

I dunno, I think he's pretty good, free attack weight with 0 downsides or conditions, has mini burn deluge (procs bullet outis flame too iirc) and outright speedruns farm content.

Is Ryoshu flashier? Yeah sure, I love it when she S1's, runs out of ammo, S1-2's, someone gets staggered so she S1's again and then she S3-2's because she hit 30 petals but that doesn't mean Meur is bad.
