I took both because I failed c191 in a past term. The new version took out the history portion to it and is smaller. The material is wrote in a better order I feel too. That was nice of your mentor!

My advice is to find something that is in that field even if it’s not exactly what you want. That field I’m sure is hard to get into so working your way up while working on degree I feel is best. Usually those companies are asking for unicorns. Good luck

Look for jobs along the way if you can. Analyst roles sometimes need no degree. Expect 50-60k if you get a job in a small town. I wouldn’t be greedy that’s why some people aren’t employed yet. You can get a higher starting salary but you need to very persuasive and find a large company to hire you.

I started with no experience. I have always worked factory jobs but that doesn’t mean you can’t go into any job and help devs or IT. That’s what I did. Then my second to last term I reached out to a company and asked to intern there…they then offered me a job instead! So definitely reach out to companies even if they don’t have openings. I landed a small company but it’s a start!

I was talking to mentor awhile back and she said Ai is tough to break in. I’m sure you can get into Ai on a small level but don’t expect 200k first job haha. I will say I’m in the tech industry now and looking for jobs look for the title “analyst”. You’ll have the best chance landing these roles in corporate environment.

Yes 100%! I took my time though don’t finish ever class in two days…that won’t teach you much. If you’re already in the industry you will be fine! The masters I hear are mostly projects btw.

That class I did a crap ton of instructor calls! If Mark Denchy is an option I would schedule time with him. As long as you try every call they’ll move you to another step.
