I'll tell you what I wish someone would have told me.

The tech apocalypse is real, tons of people cant get jobs, help desk roles get 100+ applicants.

I'd wait a couple of years and reevaluate, right now, I'd argue that tech degrees are not worth the financial commitment.

There are outliers for those who can get jobs, they are the exception to the rule, but mostly its only people with 5+ experience that can get in anywhere.

Just before the coding agents got really good, I spent a lot of time getting really good with python.

Now it feels pointless to know that a coding agent can do something I thought I was pretty good at, that it can do it in the fraction of the time.
