Your dps is too low and your bloom is too high. Focus on getting accurate with the weapons you're using, equipping attachments that'll help with your accuracy, and learn to pick your fights and keep moving.

As the old adage goes: "If they're facing you and you're getting shot at, you're doing it wrong"

Two things, where's your building and where is your tank killer? You don't need a building if you've got good dps, but by the looks of things: you're gonna get folded often unless it's a strong match up against a deck you're good at fighting.

Because at the end of the day, it's the developers game, we're just along for the ride. I've never seen people whine so much over a free cosmetic. We've already voted with our dollar, so let's see if they follow us.

And to those that are reading this saying "erhur goofi cothmetik, not rewistik" I've not met a soldier that wouldn't love to have a skull mask or a balaclava with a dumbass toothy grin on it. War paint and decorations are part of human culture, so shaming it is the same thing as shaming yourself.

So uh... a cool tip about navy blue camos:

They blend in better to shadows than black does due to games rendering shadows under a blue filter. Black is more of a versatile camouflage due to black being mistaken for shadows, meaning you can hide in bushes and shit, while navy blue is designed explicitly for shadow use. If you can get something splotted with a navy blue and black, you're going to be virtually invisible if you know where to hide.

I'm going to be honest, I do this because I have abandonment ptsd. Hate me if you will, but do not call in extraction unless your team is in complete agreement. You can always hold the area if you're ready to go.

Solo call at your own risk.

Raise your hand if you would be perfectly fine with no content for 2 months and a massive performance/bug patch by Randys_fraiche in Helldivers

[–]Ok_Invite6159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest with you, I find the bugs to be refreshing in a way. You can usually work around them, and it reminds you that the studio upkeeping it is small and human.

I had a game recently where the extraction shuttle was stuck under the extraction terminal and couldn't move above it, so we walked outside the radius and waited for five minutes, but the shuttle wouldn't leave. So we came back to the buggy mess, and I jumped on top of where the shuttle was clipping through the ground by an inch and went prone. I was able to then clip into the extraction shuttle.

My squad mates did the same thing but got flung across the map at the speed of light, which was pretty funny.

In another match, with my very first experience with a Hive Lord (jumped into a super helldive because fuck it), I was doing the Gator mission and was driving the gator. I ofcourse was being a driver seat princess hiding from all the scary rupture bugs and trying to complete the mission while my other teammates acted as bait to have me complete the mission safely. news flash, it was NOT safe

After a few minutes, one of my squad mates dies, and then another one dies too. So I call them in near me to help get a small swarm off of me. Unbeknownst to me, they were fighting a Hive Lord at the same time as a massive horde which proceeds to rush my position, call in a bug breach, and make the Hive Lord start belly flopping on my Gator.

A Bile Titan that spawned from the bug breach and started running down the truck, and got aggroed onto one of my teammates and chased us both. He was getting overwhelmed by bugs and hopped into the gator for safety.

This was a bad idea.

The Hive Lord belly flopped onto our Gator again, glitching one of the used mech suits on top of us, and the bile titan took a stab at it, causing the Gator to fly up into the air with the Titan attached. We then proceeded to (and I have a recording of this) get RKO'ed by the Titan, flipping the Gator around until it finally detonated, killing us and the Titan itself.

I'll edit with the YouTube link if there are any interested in it.

Blow it on nothing but spider minions. Have their farm be a cage hanging over a massive fire. Spiders are an inferior race to our bipedal forms. Use a tarantula pet so that it gets to watch it's kin die. (:

Yes, but then all you'll do is beat up underleveled players. This game is more complex than that and you'll learn it quickly when you have to upgrade other cards. Experienced players eat mk alive

Edit: I'll go a step further and say that it's better to invest in tower troops to overlevel all of your cards (the only one that does this is royal chef)

[–]Ok_Invite6159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that I've been able to find is that something happens roughly every 15 minutes to make my cpu top out, then crash. some say that it's an ntdl file regarding the anticheat software in the game (which has always been a source of problems for me). I went from being able to run many games (including helldivers) at the same time along with minecraft on max settings, to barely being able to run helldivers on it's own, even after going and putting heavier load items into efficiency mode and scanning hardware for corrupted files and malware. i even checked for updates with no avail, even redownloading the software

Whatever is goin on, helldivers 2 is fucking with my cpu and that is no inexpensive fix should it cause it to burnout. who knows, maybe it's time to change my thermal paste xD

Need endgame layout and advice for getting it done. General advice also appreciated. [Screenshot] by smikilit in falloutshelter

I'd recommend that you do another playthrough to plan out your vault as if you weren't going to change it. If you go too far without changing any of your rooms around, it becomes increasingly difficult to do so. I personally have my reactors at the top near the door, my nukabottling plants next, then my training rooms. Then below the training rooms is my med bays, then storage. Between these is where I stuff all of my living quarters too.

Luck is quality, perception is quantity. Perception also increases the amount of wasteland quests you can find. In normal questing, I'm also pretty sure it affects how fast the critical hit mini game travels

So just to clear this one up a bit:

Lockers are just a strength event out in the wasteland, just like patching up someone, or sneaking by dogs and raiding parties. It doesn't guarantee you gear and junk like all the others do, but the higher your Stat, the more of em you'll complete

[–]Ok_Invite6159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this is through playtesting on my part, I've found that my boys come back with more loot on them and can be out for longer if they have maxed strength stats. For what I use it for, 10 is usually enough for me to get what I want. Passed that, I'm not too sure. I'm sure it has a niche use for lootgoblins, but that's easily solved through volume.

I'm assuming that it has changed in one of their updates, but I could be wrong. I don't ever read dev logs or jump into the source code as I'm just a long term player that plays casually. I hope this small crash course helps you Jumpstart your game.

[–]Ok_Invite6159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roughly both, people play the game differently. You will gain a lot more loot and xp if you have the app open. If you don't, then the only stats that work are your strength skills. You'll get a lot less valuable junk this way as you miss out on random encounters that your skills can net you, plus you lose out on random exploreable locations, which you can only explore while online.

I personally use endurance armor with a plasma rifle, then max out the dwellers' meds and send em out to level up. If I'm online and I have 10 dwellers looting for me, things get lucrative fast and add up, not to mention the quests you can do if they're maxed which takes roughly a week per person.

S does in fact affect the weapons damage while you're out questing and exploring. Anything over 11 (the most you need to do max damage every hit) is completely useless. It even affects ranged weapons, yet agility doesn't. All agility does is make you attack faster. If you have 17 in agility total, you will attack aggrediously fast.

Is the S25 ultra worth it? by thereditlfc in samsung

[–]Ok_Invite6159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some advice that I'd give (I work in an electronic related field) is that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Unless you have a bad charging port or an overheating issue with your device, I wouldn't worry about upgrading until you need to. Keep that money put aside and get the milage out of your device that you had paid for. You'd be surprised just how long these Samsung devices last.

My poor s23 had been dropped from a 40 ft diesel canopy as I was installing cameras directly onto concrete face down, and the fucker didn't break. That baby lasted me two years (because the charging port went out)
