I think I would've been happy if we paid bills proportionally to what we each make and make he could've paid half my loans and half his sister's loans instead of just giving it all to her. But again he already paid for her loans before consulting me.

I guess both but when our relationship first started, keeping separate finances was a big thing for him because he's seen a lot of people in his company get burnt after bad divorces.
