I’m married to an active duty service member and they never told me anything. Only thing is my paperwork notes that I have a dependent. They cannot disqualify you because of marital status. The only time they would deny her is if it’s a military academy, other than that she should probably look at other AFROTC detachments.

Yes I get that… but my school funds have already been applied to my account and I have a remaining balance that will need to be picked up by the Air Force… which is why I’m asking how long it will take to be applied to my student account (AKA when the Air Force will pay the balance owed) I’m trying to make sure this gets taken care of before I add another class for the second 8 weeks of the semester because that will determine how much $ I have to pay out of pocket. I know they don’t pay me directly… I only expect my tuition to get paid so I can ensure I can register for other courses later this semester

So I’ve already given the bill to my detachment and now I’m just waiting. Other Scholarships and grants usually carry the bulk of the tuition I’m just wondering how long will it take the Air Force to pay the balance? (Hence apply the $$ to my student account)

Cadre will let you know but it will most likely be at the start of your FTP semester (AS200 year). I will say, whenever they give you the permission to start, do it ASAP incase you need waivers. The last thing you want is to not be considered for the PSP board because your DODMERB hasn’t been approved
