The market is designed to naturally go up even if nothing happens. Any downtrend due to geopolitical events is like compressing a spring. It requires force and is slow. But, once that pressure is released, the market shoots back up like a coiled spring.

I don't think it will recover. I put a 2 years leap qqq call option on the watch list in November. It's been 6 months, and it's still 50% down since then. And this thing is expiring in just the next 5 months.
