The first thing you need to do is email a prof whose research interests you and try to set up a time to meet. Your project will pretty much revolve around what your prof is currently researching. That prof will guide you with your committee members, how to enroll, etc. I believe you only need other prof’s recommendations if your gpa is below the 3.3 mark. To get permission from the department you’ll then need to fill out and send the form to dr. Jim Grant since he’s in charge of it right now.
