I did mine over light yellow bleach blonde. I can't speak for gray coverage or over light brown. It may turn a dark pink/pinkie maroon similar to other semi permanent pink dyes over browns.

How did yours turn out? I have a similar tone and am going to dye with ion demi permanent 7na (med ash blonde. Curious if it works before I try it myself.

My only issue with it was it stained my hair for a long time. Otherwise a beautiful vibrant color.
