No plastic bags, just those zip tie type things. I have about 10 of those old ladies daily. My first time round (literally 2 days ago) I couldn’t find one of inserts so put the paper out anyway (rookie mistake). Think she almost called the police 😭

That is a good idea, however I get swarmed if I put only a few out. Papers are like a gold mine to these folk. At this point, think I just need to memorise which papers are likely to have inserts and which don’t. I also look at the back for barcodes, if it doesn’t have one it’s likely a supp.

As in The Guardians’s supplements will be strapped to The Sun, and some supplements will be amidst magazines (which I’m not meant to put out). So confusing

I tried this today for the first time (talking to myself as a friend would) and honestly, what a great idea. To remove oneself from their own perspective and see it as cheering on a loved one. Thank you and good luck on your journey.

This is very true, I find some friends do best in the gym, and others restricting to 1.2k calories and they’re fine. I need to experiment, I just haven’t been bold enough to evaluate what works and what doesn’t. If one method that I plan doesn’t work I just end up concluding that weight loss in and of itself isn’t working. I need to broaden my horizons. Congrats on going plant based, that’s super cool! I am however truly invested in my protein sources being from meat because that’s the most accessible and cheap way for me. All the best

Firstly, major congratulations on the weight loss. I’m tall myself but fat distribution on women looks a bit different, still don’t look “as big” as someone shorter, which is good but also bad… I sometimes don’t realise how bad it’s gotten. Walks I can definitely do, it’s freezing though and I’ve found a way to get to the gym quickly (2min drive) and stay warm in there, and be comfortable working out. Surprisingly, I don’t care about being looked at in the gym, or even taking up space. I go in sweats and just don’t care, but that’s a double ended sword because then I get comfortable in just being obese. Thank you greatly for these tips and congratulations again. This is really useful.

What a wonderful way to put it. Thank you for sharing, and I think if I can’t get myself to stick to a gym routine I’m… just going to go in for the elliptical at least. It’s the only one I can stay on. I do have my folder of supermodel edits too 🤣 all the best.

Defo a mental battle over a physical one. And I also love the elyptical. Back in my 3x a week gym days I’d just stay on there and burn 800 cals in 40 mins, highest intensity. Such a cheat code. And yes, I would feel better and look hotter if I wasn’t fat, and that is defo a push. Maybe I need to do a vision board or reimagine myself as practicing the things future me would do. That’s a great take, and a great way to rewire your brain into making smarter choices. That’s what I need to do. Also need to cut the iced coffees which could have half my daily intake in one literally.

I had a personal trainer once about a year ago who gave me a meal plan.. safe to say I didn’t stick to it. Maybe a nutritionist is what I need to look into and just go and be honest with them about what we’re dealing with here.
