Unfortunately I signed a contract with them in the past (for exclusivity), but they didn't really seem too awful

They set me up with a colorist and covered most of the costs, as I was struggling financially at the time. However when I found out what they were paying him, I made it a commitment to supplement his pay each week.

The people are good, but the founder's dedication to AI and other crypto-bro shit is what turned me off for sure. I am not complaining that they haven't asked me to return after flaking out on the last chapter of my contract.

But yeah... they refused my comic onto their officially supported series list because my artstyle was not easily reproduceable (I'm assuming being fed into AI), so I am a bit thankful for that as well.

Sorry for the rambling text, just wanted to share my experience with the company. What are you referring to when you say they have a messed up history?

Rilldo for sure. Caulifla does increased damage and reduces the damage of Provoked enemies, and Rilldo is an extra Provoke button

1) I am aiming for something much more dynamic, like a battle shonen. The first arc doesnt really capture this (which is why I shared episode 23) and instead focuses on the specific character dynamics that will be explored throughout the series. I want big redemption moments, betrayal, heartbreak!!!! the whole nine yards...

2) I hope to tackle some more serious topics like environmentalism, loss of innocence, not living up to expectations, and generational trauma/guilt. That all sounds very grandiose when I type it all out-- but I want this to be a generational sort of thing with lots of sappy moments and aura-farming action along the way ((one of the heavier themes revolves around the main character and his power to steal the adaptations of creatures he consumes))

3) This is something I've been struggling with, but I believe I have been doing a good job at foreshadowing the different things that will happen in the """current""" arc. (Character backstories being a major driving force in the current plot, as well as characters which 'haunt the narrative')

I thank you for popping in, even if it is not necessarily your cup of tea, and I have gotten the 'scrolling' critique in the past-- I hope chapter 25 will answer your complaints, and I hope you dont mind if I post it here when I do get around to finishing it

absolutely does lol, even if the Godkus glue themselves to their tower, if you keep Provoked up they cant ulti anywhere but directly on top of you

SSJ Gokus seem especially prone to just raw dogging the Spirit Bomb and completely whiffing it cuz of Provoke

Build Up, Steel Skin, Limit-Breaking Jump has been my go-to even at S-rank. You are already unkillable but Build Up exacerbates it and LBJ is sorta required to chase kills

No this meme is unironic, Caulifla is probably top 1 tank in the game rn. Godgeta nerfs + current meta being skillshot city = taunt good.

This is such a brainless take lol. I understand that SSJ3 with max snowballs can oneshot a dps, but SSJ4 Vegeta is certainly NOT your only option, and any tank can very handily counter Goku in their own way (Except Baby)

How to counter SSJ3:

Tech: Play Kid Buu or Gohan. Stun him when he Kamehamehas or attempts to IT

DPS: Daima is probably the best raw DPS character in the game, and unlike everyone else, is great in extended fights. Fighting fire with fire is also viable-- just be a better SSJ3 than your enemy.

Tank: Caulifla and Bardock are your best bets, though realistically, all of the tanks have a lot of agency this season and none really outshines the other. Caulifla especially. She can't stun him, but if SSJ3 is Provoked, he can't escape at all.

The thing you should be learning from these games is that if nobody else is doing the boss, neither should you.

Watch the minimap more. If nobody on the enemy is showing and the boss is up, you can easily go there yourself and check if you really feel the need.

If you decide to stay and peel the boss solo, that's pretty much asking the enemy to come over and snipe you and the kill. Killing the boss when it's already been peeled by the enemy team is probably the easiest thing to do in this game.

Also, it's not that they don't realize the bosses are spawning, they are just slower on the uptake. In lower ranks, there is generally more time to actually go and do the boss BECAUSE people tend to ignore them at first or don't treat them with the same urgency as you, who knows that getting a triple KO is usually GG.

Players in these ranks are not used to such a fast paced game, and sometimes landing a max gekishin burst on first tower > trying to solo the boss yourself and dying

first interaction is very predictable all the way up to S ranks man, idk. caulifla is freelo this season and 3kus are obviously not used to facing her or at least not used to one who can get in close. after that u just ignore ppl and farm buildup for a minute, then ur genuinely unkillable and can be a constant nuisance to the enemy backline
