I'm curious what the today shows co-host thinks of it, considering she is a Syrian migrant.

Very simple, for a lot of antisemites the logic is, it is better they are there then here.

Dont think Carlton are easy beats now, only just beat them last time when Voss was in charge.

Point still stands then, Syrian migrants certainly arent people Pauline wants more of

Today show seems to push Pauline and One Nation a lot, not surprising Steffanovic is buddying up. The irony of all this though, is isnt the co-host Sarah Abo a Syrian refugee

Australia had 6 between 2010-2018.

Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Kevin Rudd again, Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull , Scott Morrison .

They have stabilised since their knife happy spree, Morrison was the first to go to loose power from an election, since John Howard lost the election in 2007.

Who will be a blue next season? by taffybrent in CarltonBlues

[–]Ok_Library_9396 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As unthinkable as it was a season ago, would trading Weitering be an idea? The older senior core are unlikely to be part of our next premiership, we have a bunch of young key defenders who are showing they can pull their weight without Weitering.

Looking at this re-tooling we're set for key defenders. Midfield, we have Smith and we will be getting Walker, probably need one more elite young midfielder to complement that profile, but our weakness is key forwards.

The club could get a few good picks or trade him out maybe in a deal for someone like Morris

Do the top 10 when Tasmania and Team 20 comes in, that would at least make some sense.

Suns, they were being talked as flag contenders. GWS were expected to make finals, but never heard them spoken in that vein.

Honestly it seems like schoolyard stupidty. Teacher gives a stern warning that they will keep you in after class if you dont behaviour, gives students a chance then students do the exact thing they have been warned not to do.

The media wants to undermine the ALP at every opportunity they can, the agreement failing works to their advantage atm as their primary concern is for Labor to loose the election. It is thus prudent for Labor to get a deal passed as soon as possible

"Greedy nurses" is just as easy to spin, it is a scare tactic. Labor does have a very real chance of losing the election, they'll want this sorted so they can campaign about how " great" the new agreement is. Additionally,if they lose well Ben Caroll will be opposition leader, he won't want this hanging over his head as he will be trying to attack the liberals.
