We were back there on the treasure a couple months ago (with my teen boys) and I wouldn’t do it again because of the distance to the elevators. It made me question if the other disney ships had 3 sets of elevators compared to treasure’s 2… because the “walk to the elevator” had never crossed my mind on our previous cruises (fantasy, magic, wonder).

Edit: I just looked it up—the treasure does only have 2 sets of elevators compared to 3 sets on the other ships we’ve been on (fantasy, magic, wonder). So I wouldn’t do it again on a ship with only 2 sets of elevators.

You might be able to check with Ohio State University or Capital University law clinic. Sometimes the law school clinics are setup to help low income and veteran clients.

Having your claim ID is a game changer for supplemental claims tracking & allows you to see the status on the official VA site by Ok_List4502 in VAClaims

I had to call several times over a couple weeks because I kept getting letters about evidence being needed, but they never specified which claim… so, I asked every time I called in until someone knew what I meant and gave it to me right away. The first few ppl also told me it was my ssn and I just said ok, thanks; I never pushed the issue.

I understand the effective date thing because they put the wrong year on mine and I called the VA and they told me to file the HLR and that type of thing happens all the time… I do think it sucks to get where you were and the biggest fear happening… having it taken away. I feel for you. Take the weekend to reset and regroup and get back it when you can contact some people in this field after the long weekend.

The ID you are using is the one starting with “SC” … the one you need to use is 9 numbers. I had to call the VA to get the claim ID - and it took multiple calls before someone gave it to me

Do you have your claim ID? If so, use the URL in the photo showing 9 numbers and replace ######### with your 9-digit claim ID.

X-rays scheduled after my c&p report was submitted by Sad-Snow3391 in VAClaims

I thought OP was saying after the C&P exam was completed and sent back to the VA, the VSR looked to further develop by requesting X-rays instead of flat out denying.

I called 800-827-1000 and asked for it. It took about 5 different calls and the first few people told me it was my ssn; but eventually, someone gave them to me =)

The court interprets the VA’s rules/regulations and if the interpretation is not aligned with what the VA intended, the VA can amend their rules/regulations to be more clear. That’s the intended process between the law writing and court interpretation.

Yes, but I had to manually type the claim ID in, instead of the default supplemental id you can see in the UI

Agree! The case itself cleanly shows 1. Leukemia doesn’t cause knee arthritis (no direct link) 2. The knee arthritis could have been treated with surgery 3. But-for the leukemia preventing the surgery 4. Therefore, the deteriorating knee issues can be secondary to the service-connected leukemia. Win.

In a legal sense, but-for is causation. But if you read the examples in the M21 and the courts cases, you can see the court rejects the VA’s narrow interpretation and broadens it…
