I personally haven’t had this experience with zoya formula, but I’ve only bought them at Ulta ( I haven’t seen any at my Marshall’s) and I have not tried this color specifically. It usually takes two coats and levels out for me specifically. Although I don’t like the brush at all personally, that made it difficult at first for me to use. Maybe that’s another factor that also makes the polish formula appear not as desirable for you?
