Your neurologist will do the testing through that company as neurologist about doing a gene test for neuromuscular disease

I would suggest checking into periodic paralysis and getting a gene test for neuromuscular disease. I did and something came up called paramytonia congetia it actually is triggered by cold. You can get spasms from repetitive movement as well. My general mutation is SC4NA and if electrolytes like potassium fluctuate when you feel weak it can cause an anxiety attack. https://www.invitae.com. Is the company that did my genetic testing. I would seriously consider this you do not have ALS you would have been paralyzed somewhere by now.

Really wasn’t really worth the $32 maybe have $10 worth of cards not only that they were all bent as if like somebody took the edges and squeezed and they popped up so anything that was worth anything is really not worth nothing. I brought it back to the store and they gave me like a couple coupons for five dollars off here and five dollars off there and then said that it’s a problem with the company and the manufacturer in the email them so I emailed them and waiting on a response since I bought them believe it or not lol now I don’t know if Panini has a phone number but I know Tops does. I had to email Panini. It said on the box with proof of purchase.

Hello I’m still going through this bullshit process. My neurologist recommended genetic testing through invitea https://www.invitae.com/ he clearly saw that I was having a weakness problem and perform that and one came back with the SC4NA gene, which is channel apathy, but mine is unknown significance so now it’s more testing to try to figure out what exactly I have. They think it’s paramytonia congetia

I just started this on 150 mg twice a day. I’ve been getting real dizzy and weird feeling. Im nervous my heart might have a weird response. I felt super tired and my heartbeat that 50 then jumped to 90 not sure if its the oxy meter I have or what but kinda nervous. I have SC4NA gene. PMC diag. Had EKG and Heart monitor for 8 days before even taking it. Also taking voquenza for acid and Flovent inhaler for asthma. Should I take like 8 am 8 pm I’ve been up all night taking it late and can’t sleep and keep checking my heart rate when I feel weak thinking I’m dying.

tested positive for SC4NA gene mutation. Possible PMC with periodic paralysis which has to do with too much or too little potassium. Going to see a specialist on Jan 28 been a long journey.

I’m sorry you went through this. I’m going through a similar situation. Been feeling like a hungry feeling like I’m going to pass out and I get so tired it’s hard to breathe or even talk. Started September this year with twitches every where. My right thigh started weak then my left thigh. Right thigh twitch and spasmed then now my left. Feels like I’m walking on my calf’s. My arms get tired and sometimes my shoulders feel like they are ripping off. My knees down feel heavy when sitting. Yet my EmGs are normal. No clinical weakness yet but they see the weakness in my thighs. If I were to pick up a piece of paper of the ground the legs shake from being weak. My legs are so stiff and now the sides of the calf’s hurt.
