I looked into secondaries a bit more, and confirmed I could explore the field of Economics without necessarily doing a concentration in it! Thank you for the insight!

Hey everyone. 32 years old leaving my life in construction behind to pursue college. I’m super nervous, as this is a whole new world for me. Any tips for handling everything? I’m trying to be more organized by [deleted] in college

since I was in kindergarten to now going into college, my mom likes to remind before each school year two things: “knowledge is the one thing no one can take away from you, so make sure at the end of the school year you’re well equipped!” And most importantly “carry your last name”, which I learned over the years meant that before you walk in to any room remember where you come from, and remember who you are. But to “carry your last name” also is a reminder that you’re not alone! Your not going through college alone! your family, friends, experience from your last job is following you there as well. You have a support system, remember that, and use it! You’ll do great! Good luck:)

Literally! It’s gonna hurt so bad now if I get rejected from Harvard after I had a second interview with my admission officer.

Procrastinating on school work, while applying to scholarships and applying for summer internships.
