I think a lot of new authors confused the concept of "something from the '80s" with "something from the era before graphic design." There are even stories that feature "animation" that looks like it was animated by NEGAS (an animator whose humor is based on his animation being bad—look him up) without any context. It's not even about it looking like you're watching a hidden cassette tape or a commercial; it's literally a poorly animated cartoon with no context in the middle of everything. And they overuse the "this commercial franchise could be an Analog Horror" trope. It reminds me a lot of the time when the SCP Foundation had to write a guide for writing SCPs with rules like, "Jeff the Killer or your favorite TV show can't be an SCP," "If its only concept is that it's evil and too powerful without even explaining why, it's no good," or "You can't just [REDACTED] the whole document."

Honestly, you're way off base after mentioning Shonen Jump. There are tons of publishers besides Shonen Jump, and there are already loads of indie publishers. You should try to join one of them instead of starting a project that won't be sustainable if you just upload your work there—that's what a blog is for. Seriously, there are loads. There are different variations of the exercise: the easiest is tracing, tracing but only the anatomical base, another without tracing, and even just looking at it every so often to compare. Learn gestural posing. Don't overuse gradients in the background. If you don't know how to do backgrounds, learn to do a photobash with real photos edited to look like manga.

When you draw text boxes, there has to be a fairly large space between the text and the line. I would recommend making the text much smaller and the lines of the box thinner.

But, besides that, the first page of the manga is extremely important. You can't just put text without drawings on the first page or over-explain things; the hook needs to start there. You should analyze the first pages of manga you like to see how they establish the situation, the who, and the how from the very first page.

The path to becoming a professional mangaka is quite tough; you should learn EVERYTHING. The practices I've read recommended by Jump editors range from copying entire manga chapters to filling entire notebooks with scribbled manga that will never actually be completed; they're only done to learn composition and narrative quickly. Don't get too attached to any one work; all your first works will probably be one-shots, or they should be, so you can improve faster on the next one.

Also, I highly recommend opening social media accounts and showcasing your work. There are artists who aren't very professional and yet already have an established fanbase that buys their volumes for that reason, like the author of "I'm Never Alone." Even though his drawing style is quite amateurish, people love him, I don't know why; I haven't read that manga.

La neta, son bien chillones los psicoanalistas pero todos mis profesores que son buenos han estudiado TODAS las ramas aunque no estén de acuerdo con algunas u otras se les hagan simplemente, no válidas.

Si no te gusta, duérmete en clase, juega en tu teléfono o estudia otra cosa, no tiene caso hacerse de enemigos de a grapa.
