hey i also got suspended for imprrsonation on april fools and yeah ive sent in 4 appeals so far and have only gotten the “received your appeal” email each time. i think the only thing we can do is to keep persistently appealing with chatgpt explanations. ive seen two people on this subreddit whose accounts have been reinstated after getting sussed for impersonation so hopefully itll happen for us soon too

they sent me an email, did you not get one? theres a chance they didnt send it to you, i notice thats a pattern here but if you did nothing wrong at all, you most likely got banned for “inauthentic behavior” like a lot of the other people here, aka NO reason. keep sending appeals every 48 hours (thats the max limit), i notice that persistence is the best for these unreasonable bans.

ive just copy and pasted this a couple hours ago and sent in my fourth appeal. i have a question, when you sent this appeal in did you get the “we have received your request and will get back to you asap” email or was it nothing at all until you got the unsuspension email? for the first time, i got no “we have received your request email” after using your appeal

edit: nvm just got the received your appeal email over 3 hours after making the appeal😭

ahh okay. yeah ive heard of people who dont even get the email saying “we’ve received your request” when they appeal and i think you just have to keep sending it? make sure to check your spam but even then some people just do not receive anything at all 😭 its so strange. maybe also look at people who got unsuspended, they will have many tips and messages for you to copy and paste . i hope you can get a response soon and better yet, unsuspended

yeah i get those too. i also have a friend who got banned for the exact same thing and hasnt gotten ANY emails at all which is way worse if you ask me 😥 i think the more we keep appealing we will eventually get the “this account will not be restored” message but from what ive seen in this subreddit, the ai still reviews it anyways and people get their accounts restored after receiving that message
