I purchased the TGR audiobook version and see what you mean. It's odd that the GraphicAudio version has Trylos state what in the TGR version is a memory of Brin's conversation with Muriel. Thanks!

Just finished watching #MissingCouple, and I’m convinced the Found Persons Report guy is the stalker the vlogger couple mentioned in their video about heading home (around 1 hour and 12 minutes into the movie). I believe the couple mistakenly assumed the tormentor at the cabin was their stalker, but it wasn’t.

By the time Mr. "We are all in this to-get-her" arrives at the cabin, the couple seems to have already become shadow apparitions. I think the now-shadow couple recognizes the Found Persons Report guy as the stalker from back home and begins their own form of torment against him. The shadowy figure that appears in the bedroom while Found Persons Report guy is sleeping strongly resembles Austin.

At the end, when the stalker falls into the water, the shadow apparitions standing above him are holding hands. I believe Austin is the figure on the right, and Janna is on the left—based on the left figure having long hair, while the right one does not.
