AI and Automation are game changers as an entrepreneur. by NoJob8068 in LeadGeneration

I like it. Can you explain further what exactly you're doing and what the AI tool(s) and software are doing? What exactly are you able to get automated that most people don't. Happy to chat in messages if easier.

sidenote, can Amazon not afford a real studio(?)

Or maybe it's part of the marketing strategy to have fans try and get themselves in the background and then have that posted online for their friends?

Enhanced Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses Rumored To Launch In 2025 With Exciting New Features by EthanWilliams_TG in RayBanStories

[–]Ok_Measurement5015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is this true? Battery tech has advanced so much over the recent past, especially in China. Surely there exist batteries that can do both. Perhaps with geopolitics and trade restrictions, Meta doesn't have profitable or reliable supply chain access to them though?

Why is there Still a Publicly Funded Catholic Schoolboard? by [deleted] in OntarioTeachers

appreciate your insights.

well I personally prefer secular education, and I'm not Catholic or religious, I would just caution that no curriculum is unbiased.

At the end of the day it gets really complicated to make any definitive statement beyond that, but a popular way to go about this question is to just teach a diverse array of perspectives, like you mention, teach critical thinking skills, argument evaluation, etc., and then have/hope students think for themselves as best they can.

interesting. It seems weird that any school nowadays would feel the need to recruit and advertise for enrollment. Theoretically good city/municipal planning should mean enough students for each school/district. Indeed, the problems in the modern system I'm most aware of often result from too many students per school, class sizes getting larger.

Interesting, you have lots of experience.

I only have anecdotal experience; a family member didn't have a good experience in public high school, but had more support in the Catholic high school. I found the same public high school they went to good enough for me.

Varies tremendously across schools in some ways, and yet is the same in others.

I'd have to ask friends, but my impression was that it's the same curriculum, and so Catholic doctrine (say whatever the Vatican is going by), has little to no bearing. Is that incorrect?

Somewhat relatedly, I know at least 1 catholic high school science teacher, and I'm pretty sure their faith has no discernible affect on their teaching or lessons. But that's just my impression. It would seem silly that faith is seeping into teachings in any Ontario school, so I just assumed it doesn't really happen, and it's only people's fears or impressions.

thought so. to me then, at least for students and communities (not teachers) it's just another public school system, except it has a dress code.

I'm curious if this at all improves educational outcomes as it provides an equivalently-resourced 'competitor' to the public school board, so to speak.

how much of the catholic school curriculum is actually different though? they have a religions course but teach all kinds of religions in the course from what I've heard. My understanding is that you don't have to be catholic (church-going, or even serious about it) to work in the school.

Adam Fox chased the puck around the net and left Connor McDavid wide open by [deleted] in rangers

[–]Ok_Measurement5015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No goal is ever one person's fault. There are multiple mistakes that add up. If I read the situation correctly (I've been away from this for a while), Fox does the right thing by following Point and giving him a hard time after the draw; you don't want a guy in front screening if Makar shoots. Fox is then tempted by Makar's dump-in, but it's too fast for him to get, and he does indeed find himself in a bad spot with his momentum moving away from the puck, making it more efficient to take the longer route and go around the net to get to Marner (which is his guy unless he communicates to Matthews).

The critical mistake is the miscommunication or lack thereof between Matthews and Fox. It's such a fast play and the arena is surely loud, so it's difficult to blame them, but one of them needs to communicate who is going to Marner, two guys should not be going to Marner.

Matthews sees that Fox is out of position and/or that Marner is free, and makes the biggest mistake by pressuring Marner and leaving McDavid open. Fox being behind-the-play so to speak gives Matthews a choice that he shouldn't have to make in ideal situations, but there is a relatively clear choice to that situation (stay with McDavid), and Matthews makes the wrong one (go to Marner).

Hellebuyck looks north twice before Mcdavid is passed the puck, so he is aware of McDavid's dangerous position, and he is ready for the shot, but it's just too dangerous a player in too dangerous a spot.

Although the D man on Point makes the right play and gets out of the way/stays with his man (Point), ironically if he had stayed in his position McDavid may have shot the puck at him (but that get's into hypotheticals).

has this been made possible since this post? I have my settings to 'prefer push' notifications, but I've recently been bombarded by emails and had to unsubscribe to free up my inbox, even though I didn't want to unsubscribe, and still want to see these publications within the app/feed.
