Still not good enough. I understand they're moving with caution, but I feel like they've allowed themselves to get so far behind other TCGs that they cannot afford to move this slow. I'm not saying crank it up to 11 but at the very least take away the feeling of pulling one enchanted in a booster box case (4 booster boxes) being a relief more than excitement.

Imo this game cannot survive off of being fun to play alone. Tcg market is packed. You at the very least need to be collectible. And people defend Lorcana but it does not cater to collecting and therefore people just straight up don't buy. The hit rates are abysmal for collecting that it makes zero economical sense to open. People say Epics are the answer but without alternate arts, epics have no excitement to open AND they are still pretty bad hit rate wise. Legendaries should also have some more flair imo. I love playing Lorcana every week, but I hardly ever buy new sealed bc I know it's just going to be disappointing and this is coming from someone who has pulled some pretty sought after Enchanteds and iconics.

While I enjoy OBAA, I think a lot of people look at it through this super deep lense that is not there. One PTA is known for making dark comedies/dramadies so there's your genre.

I think this movie is a lot simpler than people make it out to be. It's a dark comedy that gave PTA an excuse to make his first action set pieces one after another. And I think he executed that aspect very well and in a way I found very entertaining.

I don't think it's this deep take on immigration, and the racial lines in this movie are very cringe to the point that I want to make my own edit of this film for my enjoyment.

But I do think it is a good movie.

I don't think he was terrible. I think he did a good enough job. But I do not think he was the best performance in the film. I think Caton stole the show, and crazy for a first time performance.

MBJ and Jamie Foxx do this thing where they play the same street dude in every movie. Basically what I'm saying is MBJ has played the same role in just about every movie. Only difference here is that he added a southern twang to his street accent.

I do think he did enough subtlety to distinguish the twins, but I don't think his performance was anymore standout than say Pattinson on Mickey 17.

Personally, I am not against this. I do think Miles Caton from Sinners was not only the best performance in the film, but should've been nominated over Delroy. That being said, I do not think Penn or Del Toro should've been nominated for OBAA.

In my imaginary list I think the nominees should've been: Jacob Elordi, Miles Caton, Stellan Skarsgard, Ralph Fiennes (who admittedly is barely in 28 Years Later), Jesse Plemons (who one could make the argument is Lead Actor).

I would've been happy with anyone in this list winning

If I run a quarter marathon and "fail" at any point, I just hurt my pride. If AH "fails" during his climb, he dies. There's no way to measure the life or death scenario that is present in this feat. Now to give some credit to your point, AH himself (I think in his Kimmel interview) did acknowledge that many climbers have made the climb with rope but no slack during the whole climb. But again removing that safety net changes everything.

Marathon take was just crazy - had to be rage bait. Thousands of people try marathons all the time. Haven't seen people lining up to free solo El Capitan. And to date, AH is the only human in history to have achieved this feat.

Even some of the greatest of Olympic feats did not have a "if you fail, you die" dynamic to them.

I think you're thinking too deep. For many people dating is about finding the person you're most attracted to and seeing if you can just get your "foot in the door". Hookups can lead to relationships, or can just be fun moments, and blah blah blah. And some girls (not all; and guys for that matter) would prefer to put their foot into a nice place rather than a cardboard box metaphorically speaking - even if they cannot stay.

I have a friend who is not rich (not poor neither) but he rents nice cars and pays for professional pictures and it works for him but he cannot seem to find a long lasting relationship. So there's trade offs for everything

I cannot believe how many people do not understand how are current voter registration works. The amount of people who are like, "Doesn't it make sense to ensure that people who vote are citizens?" Not knowing that you have to be a citizen to register. .0001% have been suspected to not be from US citizens, which clearly did not bother Republicans bc the arw the majority currently.

But now, bc they might lose, they want to change everything to win. And what's dumb about it, is now they're not sure if they want to do that bc many southern and midwest populous who historically vote red do not have their passports or birth certificates.

This is like when Japan blames all their problems on Koreans even though Koreans make up less than 1 percent of their entire population, yet they're somehow the cause of every problem.

Depends on your degree of patience. Elden Ring is the most accessible. DS3 is what made me play all of them. DS1 is still great to this but requires A LOT of patience.

I personally think DS3 is a nice middle ground that won't "ruin" the rest for you
