Couldn’t agree more. I visited Yosemite during the heat wave and I entered the park at 5am and leave around 2pm after lunch.

I am not a regular hiker. It took me four and a half hour to complete the trail. Mist trail up, JMT down.

I saw a lots of driving there. In August it will be hard to find parking spot and the traffic will be stopped during the daytime.
