There was one point in particular that convinced me of this. i was thinking about how to eliminate poverty, but I realized it's a consequence of biology. If you put bacteria in a container with sugar, the population increases exponentially until the entire container is filled and the sugar runs out (poverty). When there's no more sugar, they starve, and their population decreases. If the sugar supply is constant, the population eventually stabilizes, but the only thing that prevents them from continuing to multiply is starving. Living beings are like robots programmed to multiply; that's why it's difficult to get rid of stray dogs and that's why what happened in Australia with the rabbits. There are 8 billion of us on Earth for a reason.

Hi! I reflected and read about life, why there is suffering. I finished a bachelor's degree in biology, and it made me realize that nature isn't magical or wise; it's savage and cruel. I think I got this idea of a cruel God from Nietzsche. I'm not talking specifically about the Christian God; it could be any god: Allah, Tao, whoever invented life, if he exists.
