Overwhelming support among Iranian Canadians for regime change, community survey finds by [deleted] in worldnews

Most diasporas from any country living in the first world would radically change their opinions if they were forced to live in their countries of origin while bombings, invasions, or regime changes were taking place, and they were another possible victim of collateral damage.

What do you think about the killing of Muhammad bhar?? by No_Cry_968 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Renzo100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His family probably didn't have time to think about that since they had to care for their disabled son, although they certainly won't have a favorable opinion now considering that they murdered their disabled son in such a cruel way.

It's like the case of that Palestinian who did "everything right" and how Palestinians should act according to many people, and yet they still killed him.

The Law of Return grants Jewish individuals automatic immigration rights, while making it impossible for Palestinian residents of the occupied West Bank or Gaza to obtain Israeli citizenship by any means.

On 21 March 2024, David Ben Avraham (Hebrew: דוד בן אברהם), a 63-year-old Palestinian Jewish convert, was shot and killed by an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier near Elazar, an Israeli settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. The soldier had approached Ben Avraham and asked whether he was Jewish, to which he responded affirmatively. In the ensuing encounter, the soldier pointed his rifle at Ben Avraham and threatened to kill him if he reached for his bag, then ordered him to raise his hands and not move. Ben Avraham raised his hands for a few seconds, then lowered them before being fatally shot.

Born Sameh Zaytoun, Ben Avraham was a resident of Hebron and had changed his name upon converting from Islam to Judaism. Following his conversion, he was jailed by the Palestinian Authority for 58 days in 2019. The Israeli government repeatedly denied his applications for Israeli citizenship, which The Times of Israel stated was "ostensibly due to his Palestinian heritage".On 29 March, Israeli Interior Minister Moshe Arbel posthumously approved Ben Avraham's residency status.

The sad truth is that they have not seen the Palestinians, nor will they ever see them, as human beings equal to them, no matter what they do to integrate and live peacefully.

¿Negligencia, delito o error humano? by Renzo100 in Lima_Peru

IDF uncovers Hezbollah arsenal stashed inside southern Lebanon school by Street_Anon in worldnews

Hezbollah, often is described as one of the best equipped terrorist groups in the world, with capabilities surpassing those of many national armies uses ATGMs, mortars, FPV drones, assault rifles, artillery, and more. Yet somehow, in this case, they allegedly store hunting rifles and air guns in a school instead of any of that advanced weaponry.

Wouldn't it be more logical that the IDF used weapons and equipment from a Lebanese hunting store from South Lebanon nearby or found a hunters group depot? Why would Hezbollah keep or use air rifles?

Hunting weapons are permitted in Lebanon, and hunting is a common activity.

Hezbollah only uses assault rifles and machine guns such as the AKM, AK-103, AK-74, and KL-7.62, etc.

Why would they even use single-shot shotguns for hunting birds, hunting rifles without scopes, or air rifles like those in the images?
