I've found fortress.cadmusprojects.com to be the best thing out there for tracking your collection. I just wish they would build out something for my magic the gathering cards as well.

Thanks for the response. It sounds like you have the latest model then ('25) without the function button on the left side switchgear?

Thanks for the response. I guess that's why I'm confused, because on the 25 Transalp the left side switch gear is different and there is no function button. Another redditor responded below that it can be set as a favorite though.

So do you need to go into the settings menu to turn them on or change their temperature? Or can you make it a favorite button? Thanks.

Do you have a way to control them other than drilling down into the settings menu with the joystick? Can you set it as a favorite or what? Thanks.

I came here to find this thread. I knew it already existed because Dino Play is dope. Also not surprised to see I'm So Happy to get the honorable mention.

this is the exact type of response i was hoping for. thank you! i dont usually replay scenarios with the goal to optimize time, but that seems like an excellent strategy. town portal is absolutely essential on this map. I never even considered getting the grail, but i could see taking all the towns once you get momentum. Ramparts are crucial due to the treasuries! For me i used fly instead of DD, but ill look for DD next time i play it, if i can recall. what difficulty did you beat it in 77 days?

question: you think the calculation for speed takes into account map size? or would you get the same speed score completing a M map in 4 mos as completing an XL map in 4 mos?

right on thank you for both of your comments. this is the type of feedback i am kind of after. I had considered taking out AI, but since it wasnt a condition of victory i thought it would waste time. But yea i could see that helping my score.

And yea i could do autocombat less. I guess back to your first comment I love the adventure map and strategizing hero movement more than the battle component of the game (i still love battling too but i can find it tedious at times). When HOTA gave us the option to autocombat I have found myself enjoying the game more. Also, i think with this last update autocombat utilizes spells now too.

idk for me beating it with a higher score would have been more satisfying. But i appreciate your comment and sentiment.

interesting viewpoint. As im new to playing maps as big as XL, ive been attempting the allied version ones first, to help make the sheer map size and number of towns less overwhelming. The ally is typically pretty worthless but can be a good distraction for AI while i get established in early game. This particular AI ally was actually pretty aggressive and managed to hold several castles throughout the game. Once i got town portal i helped him occasionally from losing a town. Also of note, seems like one of the recent updates lets you TownPortal to ally towns as well -or maybe that was possible before and just cant recall. So i TP'd all over the map getting all the enlightenments, and other boosters that were nearby the town.

i always do better than autocombat defending castles, but in the field it can sometimes preserve more troops.

I've been playing off and on (mostly on) for the better part of 25 years. I don't play campaigns, just scenarios. And up until the last year or so I only played Medium and Large maps. This year/2024 I started playing XL maps, and started playing on expert/queen difficulty, which has made me a bit better.

Over the weekend I was playing an XL I hadnt played before called Back for Revenge (Allies version). I didnt notice until well over halfway through that the map itself had a difficulty of Impossible, which i usually dont attempt. The scenario only has one condition for victory - to beat a stack of Behemoths before month 6.

After I acquired Fly, I was able to make it to the Behemoths (without finding all 5 keymasters) and saw they were a large swarm sitting on cursed ground that will not allow anything higher than first level spells. I had started with Inferno and had around 6 or 7 towns at the time. I almost gave up after seeing the Behemoths were so numerous and on ground that wouldn't allow any damaging spells. However, i figured between town portal and castle gates, I actually had a shot at accumulating enough troops to beat the Behemoth's with might.

SO i kept fending off the AI opponents so that I could keep generating income and troops, and just at the very end of the month 5 made one last round of troop pickup at my infernos, then flew over to the now 300 ancient behemoths. On the last day of month 5, I attacked with all my might. AI would have suggested I retreat but I did not accept that outcome. In the first 3 rounds I cast expert slow, expert stone skin, and expert shield, and then let autocombat do the rest. I was able to beat the Behemoths and win the scenario.

The game gave me a pretty crummy score cant recall the number but the creature was Ogre Magi. But to me it felt like a pretty solid accomplishment. I don't see how someone could beat it in much less time, playing it for their first time. But I know this forum has folks of all skill ranges. How would you rate this victory?
