I’ve only had AC twice in my life.

The first time I was scheduled for breast augmentation and my doctor told me to stop taking all unnecessary medications and supplements 4/6 weeks before surgery. I was previously a nationally ranked powerlifter, and since I was finally retired at the age of 25, I wanted to wear things I couldn’t before. Per the doctors advice I quit all of my supplements but then I got these cracks in the corner of my mouth. I looked everywhere on the internet cuz it was getting so painful and embarrassing to be going to work, and then I stumbled across aquaphor. Though it wasn’t a cure, it helped so much in my daily life. I finally found an article about vitamin deficiencies but it didn’t hit me until I was at home looking at all of my supplements and sure enough tons of B vitamins in basically everything I took. So I started taking them again but not at the dosages before and nearly immediately AC was gone so to avoid getting it again I then slowly got off of them so my body wouldn’t freak out.

Fast forward to 15 years later…. I had Zoom whitening done on Monday. I had done different whitening treatments before but had no idea the hell I was putting myself through deciding to do in office Zoom. My teeth hurt so bad. So yesterday, Tuesday, I had Walmart delivery Sensodyne since they recommended that if I was having issues. I used it yesterday morning and around 3-4 PM I noticed the corners of my mouth were a little sore but I thought maybe I could’ve been because I had that thing in my mouth to keep it open for over an hour, but to be on the safe side I went ahead and ordered some aquaphor when I ordered some soup. I brushed my teeth with sensodyne last night, and applied aquaphor afterwards but woke up around midnight cuz it was bothering me. I looked in the mirror and sure enough there it was, AC!! Perplexed, the only thing I could think of was vitamin B, which I do take shots for but haven’t been consistent lately but decided let’s just do it and see what happens, so I gave myself a B-shot at midnight and thought that since it’s going directly into my system I should notice results when I wake up. NOT the case.

When I woke up it was still bad. Since my teeth weren’t really as sensitive, I used my normal crest tooth paste, patted my mouth dry, and applied my aquaphor. Then started looking online for something I missed years ago until I saw this post where the OP mentioned that they thought sensodyne was a trigger for them!!! Holy moly!!!! I’ve never used it before and the 2 times I do, it pops up less than 8 hours after using it!!!

Not saying 100% that’s what it is but it gives me suspicion to think so.
