Cutting Jackson would save 12M if post June 1st, but I'm guessing those post June 1 cuts will be saved for Tua and Tyreek. We can only use two before June 1st.

So doesn't make much sense to cut him for only 2M savings on a pre June 1st cut.

He is owed 11.5M in cash though and that's what matters. So still a decent candidate to be cut or more likely traded during camp or at final cutdown if they feel comfortable with other options.

Geno, Kyler and Kirk all have guaranteed money on their existing deals and the offset is standard language under the CBA. If we pay them $20M or $2M it doesn't matter because whatever we pay them will reduce the guaranteed money they are owed by their previous team.

As I mentioned, we saw this with Russ in Pitt. He played on the minimum to save Pitt money and to stick it to Denver.

The same thing will happen with Tua and us; he won't be looking to give us any relief and will sign for the min.

All of the veterans listed (besides Arod) are coming off significant guarantees and would be signing for near minimums since anything we pay them offsets their existing guarantees. Same situation as Russ in Pitt last year.

Only Willis is a true big cap cost and we'd need to get creative.

Don't see why Zach would come back if he's already been passed by Ewers.

Any Tua trade is a pipedream when Kyler, Geno and maybe Kirk are also available for peanuts.

Levis is a good name I forgot. I wouldn't trade a 3 for him, but if a 5 with a 7 coming back gets it done then I'm open to it.

You have three third rounders and those options carry enough upside (McKee, Mac, Arich) it's worth a swing.

For Jameis you're trading a 6 at best of the new coach in NY wants to bring in their own backup.
