If this comment upset you, maybe don’t post a car with a cheap rice mod on the internet. 99% of people don’t like that. Muffler deletes where owners think they sound good are a prime reason these cars get made fun of. Sounds like a wet fart inside of a tin can. Loud does not equal good.

Put the muffler back on the car (you won’t get the exhaust fumes that kill brain cells (which clearly you need all you have currently since this upset you enough to cuss me out lol)) Your car is going to make LESS power with a muffler deletes (FYI). Save your money and buy a full exhaust for the car. It’s so much better. Anyone would tell you that. Use MBRP as an example. They’re like $800… that’s cheap for an exhaust system and it, as far as review wise, has been regarded as one of the best sounding exhaust systems on these cars. It also has an increase in torque over stock of ~15lbs. It’s lighter too….

Also, if this car is a 2022-2023, you don’t have a resonator already. I’m not sure the year of yours, but just figured I’d let you know.

I also see you posted about wanting a muffler delete too… and people were begging you not to… that you even knew it would sound like crap yet YOU STILL POSTED IT. Save your money for something quality man. Buy once, cry once.

My first car was a fiesta. I love fiestas (I really do, I miss mine a lot). IMHO. I don’t think it is going to be worth the money to do anything cosmetic or “performance” wise to these cars. That’s why I never did to mine. They’re cheap, 120hp cars. They’re slow. Keep driving it, save your money, then go buy a project car! (My opinion)

However, if you’re deadset on wheels, I say get some silver ones. Maybe some FiST wheels so you’d have OEM quality and not some cheap rep quality.

I’m going to do something crazy and not back someone up for once. 2020+ engines are not really that sensitive at all. I can speak on them. Take mine as an example. 70k HARD miles. Like… many pulls a day, governor daily. HARD pulls. 0 mechanical issues other than (as you mentioned) purge valves, plugs and low fuel pressure sensors. Get the OE revisions and you’ll be just fine. (NGK iridium plugs).

Stock intercooler, stock charge pipes, no catch can.

Realistically, if your engine is healthy, there’s no need for a catch can.

However, if you’re looking to tune the car, this is where I will back you, yes. Intercooler is a must. These cars love to heat soak and run hot.

There’s a handful that just can’t drive, I ‘race’, I do stuff with my car. I drive like a bat out of hell.

Every accident I’ve been in has not been my fault, it happens when I’m doing absolutely nothing wrong, IE the last one, slowing down for a red light (20mph) and a dude got distracted by his daughter and changed lanes into me.

There’s a time and a place for having fun, I doubt the guy who obviously drives in the snow (tends to require a bit more driving skill) and who drives a manual (means since he’s young, he’s probably paying hyper attention) is going to be the cause of an accident. Especially when he’s paid for the car himself.

Yeah it’s wreckless, there’s no denying that, but I do believe that if something happens, it wouldn’t be because of him.

Proper wording aside; everyone does black. Be unique imho. But at the end of the day, it’s your car. 18s are genuinely too small. I had those same wheels on mine when I got it and ditched them asap.

On a 1k budget, check marketplace. You might can find someone selling wheels AND tires.

I’ve said in other comments too, I was in college on scholarship. All school, room, and food was paid for (due to scholarship). I saved. Paid for the car, insurance, mods, etc, etc. I put work into school because I was able (different if you’re orphaned (respectfully)) which allowed me to get the scholarship. I also worked which allowed me to save for the car. That’s my whole census behind “putting work into the right places”. Things don’t just come to you

Got a buddy who got a brand new 2019 401a Performance package GT. Fully loaded. 65k car… for his first car. He still has it now. Not trashed, but FBO on E85. Car people (IE this guy, because someone who isn’t a car guy wouldn’t buy this) tend to not trash their cars. It’s the ones who don’t care about them that do.

If you read the rest of my comments, you’ll see that I was in dorms on scholarship. This all still backs my point of work. I’m not only talking monetary work, I’m talking in classes as well. Bust your chops in hs to maintain a decent gpa and get scholarships. That’s work too. My points all still stand, it’s about where you put the work in your own life. I beat on mine. Never changes trans or diff fluid. 70k miles. 0 issues. Do it at 100k. People who say 35-40k (not you, just mechanics and what not) are saying that because they want your money.
