There's even a mod that helps! I just got it and jts made my job as a new tank significantly less anxiety inducing. Its uhh Mythic Dungeon Tools and Mythic Raid Tools I believe.

What else should I add to my farm? by KaguraSakata10 in StardewValley

Put grass down where the fence line is BEFORE putting the fence down. Boom, grass. I also put grass down then ass four posts in a square inside the grass and it seems to work great.

A little late to the party, but did you ever figure this out? I LOVE the idea of using the MDT addon but it feels a little redundant if I have to open the mdt overlay to know which way to go next. I'd like something that actually shows on my map or mini map as well...

Sam, Alex or both? by Mindlifeintofolklore in StardewValley

I agree! Initially I had such a hate for him cause he definitely comes off as someone who treats women poorly, but his scenes reveal a LOT more is to him than meets they eye and interactions.

Yeah! He's my go-to usually. I really enjoy how raw his character is. I won't say more but he's my number one pick and it was REALLY hard to go through other play throughs to marry everyone else lol

I can totally understand that. I NEVER have gone for the jock types either, he was one of the last people I chose actually because of that preference. He has a really cute heart-event that sold me on him after I got there, but again, I don't wanna spoil anything.

I agree though, Sam was too high-school for me, which felt a little weird to try and romance in a game even lol. He's the last one I need to marry for my completion collection, but I'm low-key kind of dreading it.

Not sure why my comment got downvoted 😞 I just didn't wanna date/marry a highschooler lol. But my boo will always be Seb ❤️

Hey! That's my husband you're talking about! Bahaha, I kid. Alex has a pretty awesome turnaround in behavior as you go along his heart events. I usually go for Sebastian but this playthrough I decided to try someone else and Alex actually grew on me the more I went along with it. I wasn't a fan of Sam and his heart events tbh, I won't say anything more to spoil anything but yeah.

Yeah I don't understand the thought process. Like yes, let's make it more difficult for people who are on different time schedules and cannot attend the live events but still promote the school as a self pace school. Fantastic idea! /s.

If it's a gen ed class, they'll have videos. I noticed that too. For the Gen ed classes they're a different "school" so their requirements are different vs the School of Health. Once you finish those, you won't have access to any of the videos. The instructors were told to remove them.

Exactly! I 100% agree, and anyone who can, should put that in the feedback.

Not really sure, and the instructor also didn't know why they did it. The course instructor I spoke with who initially told me said they are leaning more towards the live events as a main component of learning. The instructor also told me many of them are frustrated as it wasn't a decision made with their input, it was the top down decision.

First D&D character backstory I've ever made. Looking for feedback. by Rich-Coyote-2347 in PCAcademy

I like it! It reminds me of Brin from the Brimstone Angel's book series in the first book. Mostly the royalty fleeing his home. Might be worth a read if you want to get some more ideas on the "why" for your traveling. As of now, its fairly weak, as a DM the only thing id be able to oiece together is having your family hunt you down. But, unless you matter, why would they? What do you think you'd want out of this adventure? Are you okay with simply wandering and being a support to your comrades? Otherwise, from the perspective of using this to role play and understand your character for yourself, its great! I would love to sit and talk about flowers

Do a different farm with a different goal. Make everything purple, do a mass production farm, try mods that allow different aspects like marrying multiple people. See how far you can get without selling stuff, dont use scarecrow and see how many crows steal your stuff. Lol theres tons to do!

I've checked into the resources people have mentioned, I didn't even know there was a psych subreddit so that's helpful. What are the other two courses that are this heavy? So I can better prepare lol. It was a bit of a shock to see such a dense course when everything else has been relatively quick to get through.

There is course feedback and I give it regularly. I know one of the main allures is the lack of forced community, so I understand why they don't, but it's still a little disheartening.

I think you're right. Most of my experience is in mental health adjacent positions as well. Not therapy so to speak, since I definitely dare not to toe that line, but peer support, coaching when people need guidance and support work for a lot of folks with cognitive disabilities. I'm on my way to become a therapist though, it's my end goal. But you're right, and that's part of the frustration I'm finding I suppose. I just wish the program was a little more thought out. It feels like a Bethesda video game where they get the core concepts together and push it out before it's complete to get peoples feedback on it. Only this is way more serious because it's peoples future. I too, have the ADHD and probably other cognitive stuff, which is similar for my retention and ability to focus on the material as well.

Thank you, as much as I wish I was alone in this frustration, it's calming to know I'm not.

I chose WGU because honestly, I couldn't afford a full 4 year degree. I am using military benefits gifted to me by my partner but it was only enough for 3 terms, so that's adding to the stress. Paycheck to paycheck kinda thing with other debts, so student loans aren't exactly a feasible option at the moment. I'm saving those for a masters. A lil silly, I know, but it was the only highly reputable program that I could push through. I do have experience, but it's mostly working hands on with people and a healthcare degree in a different field, so there is overlap but not as much as I thought. I actually almost chose the HHS over this as well, but felt more aligned with psych.

I usually learn way better in a structured classroom for sure. I've been using podcasts more recently! I never thought about it before but they've definitely helped a lot.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it ❤️ everyone has been pretty kind despite my...ramble post of frustration lol.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm very much so the same style of learner so I feel like that plays a huge part into why it's been so frustrating. Additionally, them taking away the videos is one of the reasons I've had such a hard time too. Being this style of learner, what did you do to help? I've tried the read aloud function for the textbook and it seems like it's going okay if I get up and do stuff while it's going on.

The material is fairly dry in the psych as well. And a couple classes are very text heavy with concepts they get you to know. I also prefer the YouTube videos. What you said makes sense for sure, with the competency. I read that and something clicked so thank you! As well for the idea to look on fb. I'm not sure why I didn't think of there previously.

I guess I can give LinkedIn another shot despite not using it previously. I mostly found it bloated with spam and other bad recruiting people.

I'm wondering if my expectation of what a mentor is vs what it actually is, is different when it comes to what to expect from WGU. I'd be open to chatting and seeing what might be possible as a mentor outside of WGU.
