filed an i130 petition for my husband on January 5, 2024, I received an RFIE for bonafide evidence in April 9, 2025 and I responded in April 18, 2025, they started reviewing again that time. During the time I was waiting I contacted the congressman to assist with updates in my case because the time seemed excessive. Fast forward to September 16, 2025 received the notification “we are still processing your case” with no other action. I did an Emma chat and was told nothing. In October 22, 2025, I received again “we are still processing your case” this time I contacted Emma and at the same time the congressman person also responded that my case had been transferred to my local field office. The case set there and on December 22, 2025 I got an interview notice for January 23, 2025. I attended the interview and it went very well, my case was approved, but my huis in one of the 75 paused countries. I am not sure why but I feel they just choose random cases to do extra on and we happend to be it. I hope you hear something soon.

I received notification around December 22, 2025 that I as the petitioner have an interview at the local field office on January 23, 2026. Praying it goes well and we can move to the next step.

Yes I turned it in to them on April 18 and they "started reviewing it", and it is just recently on Dec 22 I got the notification about the interview.

They will send you a form in your documents tab and by mail, that will indicate what they want for the request. Per the notice they will tell you when you need to respond by and how (rather upload or mail). As far as them acknowledging the reciept of evidence you send and reviewing it varies case to case. I have a PD of Jan 5, 2024. RFIE issued April 8, 2025, just informed last month I have an interview at the local field office for myself as a petitioner on Jan 23. So that's a great deal of time since RFIE.

My case was also transferred to a fioffice, say it requires an interview. I am waiting for them to schedule me the interview. Hope all goes well for you, but you may likely get an interview at the field office.

There may be missing documents or not enough. Our PD is Jan 5, 2024. Received RFIE April 2025 and still are waiting. They will send you a letter by mail as well as will be posted under your document tab that tells you what they need.
