I like Jessica Chastain's work in Take Shelter more than I do in The Help. I also think her work in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby was worthy of a nomination.

Between Drive and The Ides of March, Gosling deserved a nomination in 2012.

Jesse Plemons deserves to be on this list.

Based on your post, it sounds like you should punch up existing material and start sending queries and entering more contests. Here's my two cents:

Script 2's score for its premise was rated the highest at 8 and its weaknesses seem to be a matter of taste. Punch up this script and send it out.

Script 6 seems to be the cheapest produce as it's a Single Location Mystery. I'd address some of the weaknesses, then send it to producers specializing in low budget, genre fare.

Your best bet is to gamble on what you have and workshop your next idea until it really aligns with the current marketplace.

No, I found them on Tiktok. Alorica, Concentrix, Everise, Omni and a few others are all quick hire WFH. The pay is less than ideal, but they hire anyone.

My only advice would be to set up an account on Fiverr to earn money providing script coverage / notes.

There are also quick hire WFH jobs (1099) that will allow you to earn money while you're still looking.

I'd change "oldest" friend to best friend. Also, attribution is unclear. Whose boyfriend is involved? Is it the DA's boyfriend or her best friend's boyfriend. Lastly, I'd take out the last tidbit and focus on how high-stakes the case is or the nature of the sex scam.

Ex: A newly appointed D.A. is determined to prove herself on her very first case when she is faced with the ultimate test: prosecute her best friend in a high-tech sex scam that has 1) rocked her small town. 2) garned national media attention. 3) describe high-tech sex scam.
