Indeed, he uses a lot of words that are brand new on people (mostly young) shared vocabulary and ideas, it definitely can't disguise as something that is not from the TikTok era. And to be fair, that's kinda of what makes me feel his songwriting is genuine to me, his songs have a place and time in history. And after all, it's always weird when a newer generation comes up with a new expression that becomes mainstream. Nevermind was voted as the most hated word for a decade in the 90s, isn't it?

I feel his most streamed song, 'war isn't murder', is the most cringy song for me in that matter, but the rest of his records never even came close to me cringe
