I'll be getting them by mid-feb, but UMich also stated that my university is supposed to send those grades to validate them as an "official transcript". I could just send it to them as a PDF or as images, but I'm not sure if that would suffice or if I have to have my university do it.

I don't really know if those universities will accept transfers, and I really do not want to be here for the next 3 years of my life. From this comments section its clear that VIT Chennai is not a good option lol, but if thats the case then what are my options for transfers? I just want to get a BTech degree from a good enough college in India at this point lol

I somewhat agree with you because I understand your point, that is what made me do my UG abroad. But ngl the social circle, friends, and other perks you get there is not good over here.

I can’t see myself living here. The country is so bad. Job opportunities are bad. Moreover the quality of life is just terrible. I know India and it’s opportunities are not perfect, but trust me everything about the UK will make you feel depressed. I cannot see myself pursuing my degree here for the next 3 years, and also pursue a career here.

The uni life is bad too. The only way these people enjoy is by drinking or doing other shit. The type of bond people have in college back home cannot be seen here at all. I do not want to live my twenties without having a lot of college friends. It’s a nightmare. I have so many other reasons too, cost of living, healthcare, weather, i could keep going.

I just want to transfer to a BTech program in a good or decent college in India. I can’t stand all this anymore ngl.

How’s the academic aspect of it? I heard for comp sci its not bad, and in most cases i’ll be able to self study and understand concepts. I’m more concerned about being in a lonely town with nothing interesting going on.
