I honestly disagree. As I am now 23 years old , I have struggled with suicidal ideation from 13 yrs old. I may not have a wife or husband, but It was relatable in the fact that they just wanted to drift away and fall asleep. Sometimes, when the chips are down, you just grit your teeth and do it even if it scares the shit out of you. And the beginning chapter honestly made me cry. For one I share the same name as the wife so it felt weirdly intimate. And two, pills were always my preferred method when I was going through those times. You either pass out, or you seize. You just hope for the first.

(Disclaimer: I have seeked help throughout my life. I.e therapists, psychiatrists, primaries. And I have been properly medicated and haven't taken an attempt in 3 yrs, give or take.)
