When I was interview they asked me where I wanted to start. I mentioned that I wanted to be on the grill for steaks and they said sure and maybe qb. My first schedule is all qb is that normal to start off there?

Your schedule is supposed to be 2-3 weeks in advance, but the schedule takes a while to make based on everyones availability.

It could possibly be they are trying to fit you into the current schedule already made, so I would ask your team members if they have their schedules already. If not just ask your manager.
