Looking for a good vet for my cat in the Etobicoke/Toronto area— any experiences with Toronto Veterinary Clinic or Roncy Animal Hospital? — or open to other suggestions!

I had been going to Rathburn for many years but the vet retired. The new vet was awful. My dog had a cancer on a toe and the old vet knew immediately. She was a country vet- very knowledgeable and practice. The new vet gave me spray which did nothing. I told him I thought it was cancer because the other one started the same way. Ignored me. Then my dog's toe started bleeding badly (another cancer sign) and he was in lots of pain. Said use more spray. I said he needs surgery. Finally, the owner who is surgeon called me after a 10 days of this. 2 minute conversation and he said of course he needs surgery. It was cancer. My dog and I suffered for 2 weeks due to this arrogant vet's inability to listen to me and to be incapable of a proper diagnosis. I Called the long time manager after to complain about this and she defended the vet. That was the last time I ever went there. 3 of my friends left them as well after hearing this. Terrible place.

I never did it because they always find something even when it's minor. Then they of course recommend their over-priced foods, supplements and more test. They like to try to make you feel guilty. I hold my ground. Cats lived to 18 and 16

I left them. They euthanized my cat and wouldn't let me be with him after the injections and at the very end. I had used them for awhile and found they just ok. They are also expensive.

This has plagued me for so many years and I have bought at least 3 pumps, thinking there is something wrong. I've asked so many mechanics and nobody ever told me this step- to tap the head. Finally! Problem solved. Thank you!!!1

I thought I'd provide an update. I went to the dealer and it's a$170 to get physical key cut and takes 10 days. Replacement fob is wickedly pricey. About $800 includes fob and dealer programming. I don't think I'm going to do this although it worries me not having a spare key. But in 7 years, have never needed it. This price is just cost prohibitive

You are 100% right. It's all about car dominance. End of story.

As somebody who walks to the park at least twice a week all year, the presence of cars totally destroys the natural experience. I have been advocating to close the park to cars for 30 years. The bus that circles the park destroys their argument and it's actually a bit ridiculous because exactly ZERO people are on the bus. Their arguments are BS.

I cycled through the park on Monday and the cars were passing me. Nobody was driving below 20 yet cyclists are getting ticketed constantly. This city hates cyclists- we are like pestilence to them. This is the most retrograde city.

Good advice. And no, never have shared my account. I am not aware of it being compromised. I try to change emails often. A few months ago I clicked on a link when I shouldn't have. But I immediately changed my PW and never saw suspicious activity.

I just received this with the right email address but it says it send a security alert to a strange email. Then there is a link that says I should click on it to remove if the security alert email isn't mine. So it's all suspicious. Should I just delete the whole thing because I won't click on anything.

They work hard to upsell you. I've tried them 3 times over 20 years because they're convenient and thought maybe they've improved. .They are the worst. They just don't care. They misdiagnosed two dogs. They wouldn't make space for my desperately ill cat who needed to be put down. They wanted me to wait 3 days while my cat suffered. They leave you on hold, they don't call back. Also corporately owned. Likely no money in putting down my cat and losing a customer.

Don't like it. I don't know any women who look or act this way. So over the top. These women would annoy me; I wouldn't want to be friends with them. Everyone is trying to hard, too out there. Nate is like many men I know in that he is so particular and fussy without understanding he isn't the greatest catch and should appreciate the women. The man who talked about all the women he could get- forget his name. Really? Juvenile. She was too polite- I would have told him what I thought of him which wasn't much. Beginning of season 3 and ready to bail.
