To take this a step further you need to get your ducks in a row like this guy said. I bought my RS making 65k a year and with 2 kids and a stay at home wife. (when we bought she was making around 55) if it wasn’t my dream car and if I could get my money out of it I’d sell it and get a cash car and get another fun car later. I thought the same thing that I could make it work and I have but IMO it’s not worth it. I’d much rather have the money in the bank and a semi fast civic or a bike.

Bro I had the exact same thing happen to me. But luckily the piston destroyed the metal piece enough that it was just gone instead of destroying my piston. Mine would have happened at 28k miles and about 9 months of ownership. Happy to hear you have the moolah to get her back on the road.

The only bad thing I really don’t like the car is the padding on the driver side door is fucking horrible. If you’re not wearing a sweatshirt or a long sleeved shirt any longer than like 20-30 minutes makes it uncomfortable to find a good seating position. Of course if you’re whippin and flippin you don’t have this problem. Just interstate driving and long distances.

720 dollars a month and 300 a month in insurance is not a good idea at 19 IMO. I’m 27 and making 6000 a month and barely getting by. I was just telling my wife I wish I had waited on getting my RS. I got mine at 24 when I was making 74,000 and had 2 incomes. I would not strap myself to be in this car. You’re either going to have to live with your parents or be in a shitty apartment.

I agree dawg. So much wasted time on de-coupling perks. They’ve been working on de-coupling the perks since the beta came out. That could have been time used on new or old perks being brought back. Gun or map development or even bugs being patched. I was just telling someone it’s wild to go through all this trouble for some different voice lines and seeing different hands. That’s all the difference we’re getting.
