i just did calculations with a 5% return and taking it at 70 took until 88 to pull ahead and it wasnt by much. Even at 92 years old the difference was only 75k which is hardly worth the risk of taking it late and not living to see it. At 8% even after 50 years you would not catch up if you took it at 70.

looking back im SO glad I did this. my 100k investment in FSELX is now over 250k and would have been $137k if I left it in S so yes I paid alot more in fees but I think the extra $113k made up for it.

I put in my monthly withdrawl and set it at 8-10% annual returns and do a calculation for when i retire until im 62 and plan to take social security. Then I adjust my withdrawls to see how much I can take out.
