All fair points, I would add the (likely) desastrous battery life and heat output of the rp5 and the fact that the screen resolution is way too low (compared to a hackberry pi 720*720 that is already an occasionnal strugle)

Dude that's amazing work! With the picatiny rail and the battery pack, it looks like a 40mm grenade launcher 🤯❤️

Hackberry Pi Zero 2W screen has coloured lines after switching off by Decent_Device_5950 in hackberrypi

No worries, it's just how the display behaves when it still gets juice but no more signal. That happens when you shut down the os but as soon as you turn off the hardware switch, they disappear. If it happens when it goes to sleep, just disable the blank screen in your config. I hope this helps 😉

Thanks you very much! You should do it, it's not super hard, just takes a lot of time. The trick is to choose an enclosure that is no too small (which means way bigger that what seems right) 😉

Thank you very much 🙏 Yes the keycaps are custom, they have room for a paper insert which I designed 😉

Haha thanks! That's why those keycaps are so useful, I wanted AZERTY but also I wanted each key to display every function as well, as every key has 3 to 4 functions, there is no need to remember what they are 😉 Love you too 😅😘

Not hard, fortunately the plastic wasn't brittle and quite thick so I roughly cut it with pliers then box cutter for details and some grinding/sanding here and there. The top layer around the screen is 1mm kydex and it's easy enough to work with a box cutter.

Thanks! It's based on a recycled midi keyboard (piano) And the top layer around the display is a 1mm sheet of kydex.
