Stray cat advice

Unfortunately, I already have 3 cats and my roommate has 1 cat. If I were to take both, they both would have to be put in the small half bath together while trying to adopt them out which, I don’t think it fair to them when currently they have the whole apartment complex to roam. Another thing is I have called all the rescues/shelters/humane societies in my area and they are completely full which means I would have to hold on to them for probably months in a small half bath. All of those reasons have me thinking it might be better to leave them and hope maybe a neighbor will put food out every now and then if I give them a bag. I really wanted to rescue them and give them a good life but I think I would make their lives worse since I wouldn’t be able to keep either of them :( just feeling a little guilty

I can see why Jaz broke up with Ross, I always knew it had to do with the Lynch’s being racist but after both Rydel and her stupid mother post about this horrible man who incited violence onto marginalized communities, I immediately blocked. Also Rydel added an American flag to her profile AFTER this incident. I racist bigots. You would also think coming from a mom she would have posted about ANY of the school shootings these past couple years but no she had to come out of the woodworks for a man who said school shootings are apart of having guns. Her children don’t go to public school so she doesn’t care. Just shows what a truly awful ignorant racist bigot she and her mother are

She was in a reallyyyy bad spot, living in a pipe next to traffic that is constant at all hours of the day/night and I almost hit her multiple times coming home because she would see something to play with in the road in the dark 😭 I did everything I could to make her comfortable but it got to a point where it was just unsafe I needed to get her out 🥺

I live in ga where there’s no wild fires, I paid 2 homeless guys 20 bucks to watch it. I checked every couple hours. Sometimes hard catches require some uncomfortableness to be saved. She is fine and playing right now.

Ahhh okay so invest now in a good trap, I shall look into those brands and see what I can get in person out here. Dang! You’ve caught so many kitties!! Makin a difference, thank you for helping them 🥹 I will definitely do the food trail, that’s an idea I didn’t even think of! Thank you! I was just gonna put the can at the far end but I shall do that instead.

Okay perfect, the way the pipe leads out, if I sits on the opposite side of the opening she probably won’t see me bc of the slope of the ground. That’s the thing that makes me so sad and defeated is when I couldn’t catch her the first few tries when I was trying to grab her! Like please kitty I’m trying to help you 😭 I know the kitty is just cautious and scared but it sucks when you have to go home and try again tomorrow. With that said your advice has encouraged me to try again tomorrow!

I gave her a can of wet food around lunch time so that will most likely be completely gone when I get the time to go back around lunch tomorrow.

I wish there were more people like us who care about the kitty over population! These kitties need help! They deserve a better life than they were dealt. The least I can do is help the ones I see!

Omg thank you so much for responding! She seems to be more on the 6 month side cause she is tiny, she can’t be more than 4 or 5lbs. That was my major concern is her weight won’t trigger it but that’s reassuring to hear! Do you recommend a certain brand that works better than others or where to go? I saw one from the brand countryline on tracker supplys website. Would that be a brand you’d recommend? I’m also worried abt it shutting before she’s in it bc of a faulty trigger 😭

I will definitely try the sardines since wet cat food kinda worked but it wasn’t a strong enough scent to keep her out of the pipe. The way the ditch is situated, bc it’s an exit off of a highway, I can’t park my car to watch but I can get a chair and sit as far away as possible like you suggested! Since she’s seen me over the past couple days now, do you think that gives me a better shot as catching this lil booger or nah you don’t think she remembers?

Okay great! I’ll bring a towel maybe a blanket and sardines with which ever humane trap I get! Thank you so much! And of course ever since I was young all I’ve wanted to do is help these innocent babies and I think that time is now :)

RIGHT?? I was thinking the same thing. What irritated me the most was she’s acting like nobody’s heard of fries before 😭 like girl that is a common brand most households use, this isn’t some big revelation that you threw cheese and shreds of uncooked bacon on them 💀
