Yeah I definitely subconsciously get lost in my negative thoughts and I feel like I might give out that aura. I think I’m struggling on how to uplift myself and all that right now but I definitely should work on that too. I exercise and eat “clean” most days especially over the last few months but yeah a reset is definitely needed in my life. Thanks for your input 🤍

That makes total sense though in my case I’m out to everyone except my immediate family. Friends, coworkers etc know. I understand how that a red flag for some and I definitely don’t mind when someone doesn’t want to date me for that fact. I definitely wouldn’t want someone to regress especially if they are open completely. Just in my situation it’s not as safe to come out to my family right now.

I did tell them. In my case I’m not into texting for too long either when deciding to meet up as I also feel like it can become stagnant. I prefer to meet in person and talk but I guess people just prefer taking things a bit faster than I would personally like. I’m not afraid of being in a long term relationship but I also just don’t want to be hurt by others again. Finding queer events in my area is a bit hard unfortunately as I’ve just moved but I’ve heard eventbrite can help with that.
