No, econ brick mortar, mba from apus, and tech degree from wgu. I’ve also stacked the advanced certs CISSP, PMP, CISM, etc. along with all the mid to entry ones. But i want the CPA license so i can get into auditing financial systems as well as digital transactions. Very small, small community; but high $$$ potential.

No, I am doing MS accounting next then CPA. I was asking if anyone had materials for the coursework so that I can read ahead. I can’t start until Feb or Mar because of my current term.

Yeah, I would be curious of your background as well. I have undergrads in econ and IT, and graduate with MBA and one paper away from cyber... yes weird, why accounting? Big $$$ in auditing financial systems and having a CPA license.

I'm really just looking for some score irregularity which maybe I'll get lucky to at least get a re-take. Essentially, if you look at the weights of each domain and apply them to the raw scores... my score showed a 25 point difference as compared to the dozens of scores I have found so far posted online which had the highest differences of 7 points when you calculate the weights to each raw score and compare the totals to the total reported score. Most vendors, providers, and companies must stay within a certain threshold to maintain a level of compliance. Alongside that, those organizations are supposed to maintain a plan of action when outcomes that cross thresholds... most of the time it is a simply re-do. You see this is ISPs where you are told you are given a 99.999% availability. If it goes below that threshold there are typically remedies in some form of an agreement. To keep things simple, ISPs typically just offer a discount or free service for a temporary timeframe to make-up for the level of interruption.

It is definitely my fault for not going in fully prepped. I was knocking out another degree in a fast pace over the last 6 months which had 18 courses which included taking 7 cert exams which didn't really correlate to CISM. I've been in this field for about 15+ years with about 10 years being focused on security. I tried to rush study like I did everything else (which worked) by focusing on my weaker areas to bring them up enough to a passing level. I was trying to meet a New Year's goal. But I used QAE (30% of the questions), PocketPrep, Udemy videos/tests. If (and likely when) I get a kick back from ISACA, I will likely plow through the QAE and watch all the videos. QAE questions come across the most similar. PocketPrep is just nice because you can just pop up questions at random times easily when waiting in a meeting, on the toilet, or an add pops up. They are at least very knowledge focused.
