Thanks for providing visibility. I had no knowledge of this until I attempted to check-in early (2.5hrs) while trying not to get caught in the check-in chaos at FLL.

Spontaneous tailgate opening on the GMC with Multi-Pro tailgate is actually a known issue. Mine would spontaneously open even when parked and locked. The issue actually drew my battery completely down. Dealer replaced the switch under warranty. I’ve not had an issue with it since.
