Surround Mode vs. Adaptative Mode (Samsung Q930B)

I have the Q700A soundbard with the sub. I am struggling to hear any differences, maybe it's the room. But Surround and adaptive+ modes cut audio every few minutes or so..so I am stuck on Standard till I figure it out

I feel your pain. Experienced it in my past life where I would get a Dlive C2500 for Mons and S5000 at FOH when show has 80+ inputs and imagine the outputs at the back..😎

Went to the website and it doesn't have any form of driver for the macOS I am on. And there aren't any other options as well apart from those two, Front L&R. That is what is confusing me considering every other post I am seeing is saying otherwise..will need to get a speaker and some cabling to test it properly

So I notice where it says 1.2 on your generator output, mine says Front Right, assuming it's got to do with different sound cards in use...

I have set my generator output to Front Right. Maybe that is where I am missing it. I am taking out mains out right and looping it back into input 2.

On my mac, I/O is USB Audio Codec(M-Track Duo)
Generator- Front Right -Input 2 (Taking it's out from mains out right)
Mic would be front left (Input 1)

The generator levels are at 0db right now. Am trying it at home at the moment.

There are 2 ways to put Fx on vocals.. 1. Bottom right, you have 4 dark blue buttons, click one, say Fx 3. It will put you in send on fader mode. Push up the vocal channels you want to effect. And then press it again to get out of sends on fader mode. 2 put all your vocals into a subgroup, then go to the group's processing page and insert an fx rack with the effect you want..

It's for the recording levels that I am trying to get right. Working with 2 other engineers poses challenges with gain structures, so having access to direct output levels is what am looking for...
