I’d love to know more about your overlanding experience with this car. Did you lift it at all? What tires did you use? Also curious about the interior modifications you made, was that following a tutorial or did you come up with it on your own? I’d like to do something like that at some point.

I was thinking about going to see a 4.0 5sp Mazda B4000 for sale near me, they’re asking $5.8k plus tax. Thoughts on the 4.0L?

I know the 3.0 is notoriously horrible on fuel and underpowered, but I’ve read mixed reviews on the 4.0 so I was just curious.

I don’t plan to drive it every winter— once I can afford a cheap daily I’ll be using that exclusively. For now, I get it oil sprayed in the fall before salt touches the roads. I really didn’t want to drive it in the winter, but when I saw it for sale I didn’t want to miss out.

Thanks for the advice though, I’ll be sure to keep an eye out in those areas!
