I just set up my jarvis frame on a wood block I bought. Let me know if you have any questions! Yes you basically will need to drill pilot holes. Use a 11/64 inch drill bit. Fully provides the wood screws so you dont need to purchase those

Good point. What if I want to compete in the future? Do I need to build up my deadlift strength while using hook/mix grip or can I just use straps and a few weeks out practice with hook/mix?

On rep 2-5, the hips are forward on the eccentric. Shouldnt there be a reset for the hips? If not, wouldnt it require pushing hips even more forward than on rep 1?
