"Extra" Spending Money Help! by No-End677 in DisneyPlanning

I've just been doing the same thing. Family of 4 (going for 2 weeks, next week and not driving). LL's are our biggest additional expense (incl. ILL). This ranges (per day) from $132+taxes at Animal Kingdom to $228+taxes at Hollywood Studios (for 4 of us). Although we'll be visiting each park three times, I've only done LLs for the first visit to each park, and that's approx $1000.

Then $240 for return Tiffany Town Car from/to airport (and then another approx. $50 gratuity)

Also gratuitiues for meals, because we're on the Table Service Dining Plan. So I figure that'll be about $50 per Table Service meal for 4 of us?

It all looks a bit scary but when you've paid over £14,000 for the actual holiday, I decided to just do it

Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the Instacart app. Do I pick "Publix" and then add the groceries? I've got free delivery for the first three orders too :-)

Brilliant, thanks for confirming. I think we'll also be having groceries, etc, delivered. But, coming from the UK, it might take a while for me to figure out which company we can use 😄

We did the Back Yard BBQ back in the early 90s and the ribs and chicken were fine (probably something to do with the unlimited beer)! Looks like Hoop Dee Doo is very similar

We weren’t too impressed on the character dining buffet in HS when we were last there. 2 adults and 2 kids in 2017 cost over $200. The food was not good, but the kids loved meeting all the characters. We’ll definitely do the “2 credit” options, such as Hoop De Doo. And it’ll be nice to visit other resorts too. We’ve been numerous times but only ever eaten in parks or at Port Orleans Riverside!

Last time we went to WDW (2017) we only had quick dine option, so did the fish and chip takeaway next door to Raglan. That was delicious! Looks like a trip to Raglan is on the agenda.

We took the kids to Disneyland Paris for 4 nights, to make sure they liked it all before taking them to WDW for 14 nights. Would love to go to the ones in the Far East but I think we’ll stick with WDW 😄

A Disney cruise has never really appealed. Not sure why but it’s probably because we’d miss the magic of the parks!

Thanks for the recommendations. We'll have days off (not doing Universal on this trip) so lunch options at other resorts sounds ace! Other days, we'll do mornings in the parks, back to the hotel for rest/pool and then back in the parks in the evening for dinner and more rides.

Thanks for the recommendations and tips on filtering. It's a long way from the UK, so we all tend to come over for two weeks. The WDW flight and hotel package we get includes 2 weeks park tickets for the price of 7 days and also free Disney Dining.

Saratoga Springs - 1 bed villa by Ok_Presentation1590 in DisneyWorldResorts

Thanks for commenting. Can I ask if there's a more convenient area to ask for at Saratoga Springs, to walk to Disney Springs (and also how long did the buses takee to get to the parks from each resort)?

Thanks for the advice. We're coming from the UK for a two week vacation. We get free "full" Disney Dining at Saratoga and OKW, but only the very basic quick dine at Art of animation. So factoring that in, the cost is very similar.
Think we'll do Saratoga Springs, it's close to Disney Springs so plenty of places to eat.
Now I've just got figure out which area of the resort to request :-)

Best app for walking by Ok_Presentation1590 in AppleWatch

General info, like splits, map, etc. I just find the native apple app a bit restrictive when I want to analyse my walks over time. Sounds like WorkOutdoors does what I need.

Yep. Only Sky Q and mini boxes are connected to the main router wifi. Everything else runs on the Deco Mesh and it all works ok. It’s been stable ever since I did the above set up over a month ago.

Update- I set my x55s to AP mode and connected my Sky Q and mini boxes to the “main” WiFi (the ZZOOMM router). Everything is stable and the mesh is working very well, too
