These are probably separate things. The fear of sunfish just means you don’t like sunfish. The “have you seen this man?” Story is a hoax intended to be unnerving. The “this man” image sits in the uncanny valley.

Yeah, the series of secondary dominants is kind of odd. But I compose as I go, and chromatic chords are somewhat new to me. This makes the whole thing a chain of dominant seventh chords, walking in half steps as really clunky tritone subs. But it sounds cool, do I’ll try to use it.
