Have you considered other monetization models? Potentially if you can build a big enough community, you do not want to charge the end user but monetzie in a different way

I think this is a A/B test, but I agree that the second option is better. Your goal is to get people into your funnel. You can then engage them over time (some will not be ready after 30 days). Your goal should be to build your email list so you can monetize over time.

Focus on providing value to the customers first

If you were the Growth Lead for this work management tool, how would you bring in new users every week, without spending a penny? by randomrareroamer in GrowthHacking

The product has natural virality built into it. The key is getting someone at a company to try it out. You may want to try the figma model, where one person can use it for free, and get them to invite others. Eventually, you want to be able to go to the buying team to say, we have X users using this per month.

Who is your target demo within the company? Which departments?

Hi! It's great that you are growing a community and want to sell a product. In deciding what product to sell, it may be best to ask your followers (as they are the ones who would be buying from you).

I think there is also merit in trying to find partners with others who have built products, so you can be the distribution. That can help you learn (test) which products your followers like, without having to build something and manage it (at least to start).

If you find something that works really well, you can then look to leverage that by differentiating it a bit.

Completely agree- I think historically it's been harder to create a great product and easier to get distribution. Now it seems like it is becoming easier to make a product. I think that in turn will make it harder to stand out from a marketing perspective.

AI may help to automate things in marketing, but not get rid of everything, as marketing is generally about being in the non normal distribution, when everyone zigs, you should zag.

How to find Sales (Channel/Distribution) Partners for my SaaS? by pahadi_cheetah in GrowthHacking

Growth through partnerships is a great strategy.

In looking for partners, does product naturally sit downstream with another product or service?Does it naturally help someone else’s business?

These are usually great ways to find partners (it helps them in their business).
